The Northwestern University McCormick School of Engineering Presents:
The 11th Annual Design Competition
Saturday May 18, 2002

Featuring the best and brightest of Northwestern's talented students. Teams compete in a head-to-head competition testing their robots to navigate and conquer our course!

Design Competition is a robot-building competition, organized by undergraduate students, for undergraduate students. Any undergraduate student, studying any major, may participate. This year, we have 34 teams of over 130 student competitors! Student members manage every element of the competition, from finance to public relations to course development.

First prize - $3,000 | Second prize - $1,500 | Third prize - $750

Corporate Sponsorship Levels:

Bronze: up to $1000

Silver: $1000 - $4999
(a portion of the course will be named after your company)

Gold: $5000 and above
(a larger portion of the course will be named after your company)

What your company receives by becoming a corporate sponsor:

· Company publicity - your logo will be placed on our website, around the course, programs, and competitor's t-shirts. This year, in addition we will also name a part of the course after your company, according to your sponsorship level.

· Resume book - you will receive copies of participants' resumes to help you in your recruiting efforts for co-ops, interns, and full-time positions.

· Interaction with the Northwestern community - on the day of the competition, you will be offered a booth to promote your company with our attendees. (Last year, attendance totaled over 600 people!)
