FAQ

Blocking?
No blocking of the goals or ramps at anytime.
Stopping on or at the base of a ramp is forbidden. Stopping over a drop-hole is forbidden.
All other locations on the map are allowed as stop points.
Any robot that does stop in a 'no stop' area will be subject to be immediately removed
from the course by the judges.
If I plan on co-oping spring quarter, is there a procedure that I have to follow to get credit for that quarter?
There is no set procedure to follow. However, you may talk to the Coop Office and see if you may still sign up for credit that quarter with no extra charge. If that is not possible, talk to your advisor about possibly giving you credit the following fall instead of this spring.

My team has not turned in the contract forms yet. Is this important to complete immediately? How should I turn in the completed forms?

You have until the first milestone to turn them in because we don't accept any receipts before then. You can turn it in now if you want, but aren't required to until the 1st milestone.

What exactly does "confines of the course" mean? Is our agent allowed to ride the wall? How about if part of the agent is hanging over?

Confines of the course means that if any part of the robot is on the top of, or hanging over the wall barrier it will be considered out of bounds. The wall is meant to keep the robots inside the course and to keep the audience safe.
