The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a nationally recognized professional, educational, non-profit, and service organization dedicated to promoting interest in and encouraging women to pursue the fields of science and engineering.

The Northwestern University SWE chapter organizes and runs the main technical career fair during Fall Quarter of each school year. Representatives from leading businesses around the country gather to recruit and advise students on their respective career paths. Opportunities include but are not limited to undergraduate internships, graduate internships, Co-op positions, and post-graduation full-time positions. Industry Day is open to all Northwestern undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff.
